One of the best deals in town happens once a month, and this Sunday is the day.

On the second Sunday of every month, the Michener Art Museum is free for everyone, and that includes the special exhibitions.

Right now, that means The Crossing: Picturing the American Revolution, Abstractions of Nature: Quarries and Industry in Pennsylvania Impressionism, and The Short Line.

The Short Line closes Oct 26, so this is a good chance to catch it.

If you have kids or grandkids along, the free Unplugged Family Day craft workshop runs from 1 to 3 p.m. This month it's spooky spider web weavings. Early registration is recommended.

Go after lunch, take your time, and finish with a walk through the sculpture garden.
