Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event Scheduled for Saturday in Perkasie

Bucks County residents can safely dispose of household hazardous waste at the next collection event on Saturday, May 30, 2026, hosted at Upper Bucks County Technical School in Perkasie.

The free event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., rain or shine, with no registration required.

Each household may bring up to 25 gallons or 220 pounds of hazardous materials, including oil-based paints, pesticides, motor oil, pool chemicals, batteries, and fire extinguishers.

Items such as electronics, appliances, latex paint, tires, and smoke detectors will not be accepted.

Residents should transport items in their original containers and keep materials separated and tightly sealed to ensure safety.

Proper disposal prevents toxic chemicals from polluting local air, water, and soil, protecting the community and environment.

Additional collection dates are available throughout the year at other county locations, open to residents from Bucks and surrounding counties.
