The anticipation is palpable as Hellerick's Adventure Farm swings open its gates for this year’s eagerly awaited fall festival in Doylestown.

Locals know that when the vast fields at Hellerick’s turn vibrant with gourds and sunflowers, autumn has officially arrived.

Families and visitors can expect thousands of pumpkins spread across the beloved pumpkin patch doylestown has come to cherish, making it a photo-worthy spot and a true seasonal highlight.

This year, organizers have introduced a fresh lineup of food trucks and live music on the weekends, adding energy and community spirit to the already bustling scene.

Recent reports from residents mention new weekend activities and even more games for kids, ensuring everyone finds their favorite corner to enjoy.

Guests are welcomed by the familiar scents of apple cider and baked goods, layered with laughter from the corn maze and cheers over wins at barnyard mini golf.

With over 40 activities, ranging from the high-energy obstacle course to mellow wagon rides, it’s a festival that packs nostalgia and discovery together.

This year’s fall festival doylestown fans will notice a few thoughtful changes: touchless ticketing for quicker access and expanded sunflower fields, inspired by last season’s popularity.

Beyond fun and games, the festival provides an unexpected benefit—a chance for neighbors to reconnect after summer and welcome in a new season side by side.

As school routines resume and the breeze turns crisp, Doylestown settles in for weeks of color, laughter, and pumpkins at Hellerick’s.

Each September, the farm’s old Bucks County soil seems to pulse with fresh energy, reminding everyone why this festival remains an unmissable tradition.

greg_from_warminsterFellow Warminster person here, totally agree. It takes maybe 20 minutes and feels like a whole day trip. Definitely worth it every fall.

this is our third year going and the additions keep getting better. Whoever is running things over there is doing a great job.

twins wanted to do everything at the same time in different directions. Survived it. Would go again next weekend honestly.

i wish they had a seniors discount or a quieter time slot. It can be a bit overwhelming on busy days for older folks.

the smell of fresh cider when you walk in is everything. It hits you right away and you just feel like fall happened.

bringing my parents this year. They have not been in ages and i think they will love seeing how much it has grown.

dave_in_dtownThat is so sweet. My parents came for the first time a couple years ago and they could not believe how big it had gotten. They talked about it for weeks.

love that they expanded the sunflower fields. Last year it was so crowded over there you could barely get a photo without strangers in it.

the corn maze this year is no joke. Our group got genuinely lost for a while. In a fun way though.

chris_k_PAOur group did the same thing and we were convinced we were never getting out. My kids thought it was the greatest thing that ever happened to them.

went on a weekday and it was so much calmer. Recommend that if you can swing it. Way more relaxed with the kids.

bucks county falls are something special and hellerick's is a big part of that. Would not feel like october without it.

You put it perfectly, there's something about Bucks County's old fields turning golden that just can't be replicated, and Hellerick's has been at the heart of that feeling for generations.

anyone know if the obstacle course is okay for a 4 year old? Trying to figure out what my littlest can actually do.

the live music on weekends is a nice touch. Makes the whole place feel more like a community event than just a ticket attraction.

    • DP

That's exactly the spirit we hoped to capture, the new food trucks and live music lineup was designed to make weekends feel like a true community gathering, not just a visit to the farm.

my daughter is obsessed with picking out her own pumpkin. She takes it very seriously. We spent 45 minutes out there.

Forty-five minutes sounds about right when thousands of pumpkins are competing for attention, we love that the patch inspires that kind of dedication!

prices went up again this year. Totally worth it for a full day out but it adds up quick for a big family.

the wagon ride is so peaceful after you chase kids around all day. My husband and i look forward to it every year.

Gina R.The wagon ride is genuinely underrated. Half our group was ready to fall asleep on it, in the best way possible.

The wagon ride is one of our favorite offerings too, a little mellow downtime is well-earned after conquering the obstacle course and corn maze with the little ones!

glad to see hellerick's still doing well. A lot of local farms have had a rough few years. Nice to see this one thriving.

TomP_BucksSo true. We lost two farms near us in the last few years and it was really sad. Good to see Hellerick's keeping it going strong.

barnyard mini golf is lowkey one of the best parts. My whole family got way too competitive about it.

touchless ticketing is a welcome change. The lines at the entrance used to be brutal on busy saturdays.

    • DP
      Doylestown PulseAuthor· Sep 8, 12:07 PM

We're so glad the touchless ticketing is making a difference, smoother entry on those packed fall Saturdays means more time for the fun inside.

      mike_t_doylestown· Sep 9, 4:03 AM

JimFromDoylestownYes! Waited almost 30 minutes just to get in last October. If they actually fixed that it's a game changer for busy fall weekends.

so glad they added food trucks. The food options were always the weak spot for me. Curious what trucks are showing up on weekends.

  • M

40 activities sounds like a lot but half of them are for little kids. Adults kind of run out of things to do after a bit.

the sunflower fields are gorgeous this year. Way bigger than last season. Definitely worth the trip just for photos.

    • DP
      Doylestown PulseAuthor· Sep 9, 8:30 PM

The expanded sunflower fields were inspired directly by last season's enthusiasm, so it's wonderful to hear they're living up to the moment, bring your camera!

hellerick's every fall without fail. Been going since i was little and now i bring my own kids. Some traditions just stick.

Multigenerational traditions like yours are exactly what keeps Hellerick's feeling so special, it means the world to know the farm has been part of your family's story that long.

took the kids last weekend and they did not want to leave. The corn maze alone kept them busy for an hour.

The corn maze has a way of turning an hour into an adventure, we're thrilled the kids got so lost in it (in the best possible way)!
