Classic Car Show Rolls Into New Britain Near Doylestown Saturday |
Vintage cars for a good cause, with free admission for spectators |

Chrome, tailfins and a good cause, just down the road.
New Britain Borough's 6th annual car show is Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lenape Valley Church, 321 W. Butler Ave.
Expect classic and vintage cars, and owners who are happy to talk about them.
Spectators get in free.
If you want to show your own car, registration is $15 in advance or $20 on the day, and it's cash or check only.
Proceeds support local charities and community events, along with the Eagles Autism Foundation.
Saturday looks dry, with a mix of sun and clouds and a high around 60.
If the weather turns, the rain date is Saturday, Nov. 14.
It's an easy morning stop before the rest of a busy Saturday. |

great cause with the autism foundation. More events should partner with charities like that
W Butler Ave is easy to get to, parking was fine when I went two years ago
W. Butler Ave gets busy on weekends, give yourself a few extra minutes to find parking
took my grandson last year and he could not stop asking questions, definitely going back
my dad would have been all over this. He had a thing for old Fords
anyone know if there are food trucks this year or just the cars
glad they keep this local and support community events with the money raised
60 degrees and classic cars, pretty much a perfect Saturday morning
showing my 72 Chevelle. Come say hi if you see it
my dad would have loved this, he was a huge car guy, going in his memory
Nov 14 rain date is smart planning, they learned from a couple years back
Bob HartmanWhat happened a couple years back? I only started going last year so I missed whatever it was.
easy stop before my afternoon errands, might swing by around 11
love a free community event. New Britain does these well
those tailfins on the late 50s Cadillacs get me every time
New Britain puts on a good event every time, nice to see the borough doing things like this
The borough should be proud. It's the kind of local tradition that gives a community its character, and it only seems to grow each year.
hopefully the rain date stays dry too. Nov. 14 is not too far off
nice that you can pop in and still have time for errands after. 10 to 3 is a good window
my neighbor is showing his 68 Mustang. Worth going just for that
been meaning to go for years and keep missing it. Marking my calendar this time for real
the tailfins on those old 50s cars get me every time. Nothing like them
cash or check only, just a heads up if you show up with just a card
sixth annual already. Time flies. Remember when this was just a small little gathering
Lenape Valley Church is a great spot for this. Plenty of room to walk around
60 degrees and dry is perfect car show weather honestly
love that it benefits the Eagles Autism Foundation. Good reason to show up
$15 in advance is a solid deal. Registered mine last week
free for spectators is always a win. Taking the kids Saturday
went last year and it was great. Some really beautiful old cars and the owners love talking about them
hopefully the weather holds, last year we lucked out too
Fingers crossed, and if the weather does have other ideas, the rain date of Nov. 14 is there as a solid backup.
jimbo_doylestownFingers crossed! 60 degrees and partly sunny is honestly perfect car show weather, not too hot, not freezing. I'll take it.
always love talking to the owners, they get so excited about their cars and its contagious
15 bucks to show is a fair price, cheaper than most shows around here
DaveT_1962Agreed, I've paid $30+ at some of the bigger shows and the vibe wasn't half as good. Local shows like this are way more relaxed.
sixth year already, time flies, feels like the first one was just a couple years ago
Six years in and still going strong, a testament to how much the community has embraced it from the very first show.
my buddy is showing his 67 Mustang again this year, thing is gorgeous
Lenape Valley Church is a good spot for this, nice open lot
carol_nbParking has never been an issue either, which you can't say for every event around here. Easy in and out.
cash or check only, reminder to stop at the ATM Friday night
love that the proceeds go to the Eagles Autism Foundation, great cause
It's a wonderful pairing with the local charities and community events also benefiting, your registration fee and any support really do go a long way.
Debbie H.My nephew is on the autism spectrum so this one hits close to home for us. Happy to come out and support it.
60 degrees is perfect car show weather honestly
Hard to argue with that, cool enough to be comfortable but warm enough to linger, which is just what you want when there are beautiful cars to admire.
free for spectators is always a win, bringing the kids Saturday
been to this every year since they started it, always a great time
