Trivia Question❓Doylestown, PA is the county seat of Bucks County, which was one of the three original counties established in Pennsylvania in 1682 by William Penn — but can you name the fall month in which Penn himself first arrived in Pennsylvania to personally oversee his new colony? Answer at the bottom of the newsletter |
Rain Friday, sunshine Sunday, and a weekend full of fall festivals and local events |
Friday brings rain — about half an inch with a high near 69 — before the weekend clears out nicely. Saturday turns partly cloudy and around 60, while Sunday comes in mostly sunny and crisp in the mid-50s. Sunday is the day to get outside: Cranksgiving rolls out of Broad Commons Park at 9:30 a.m. Saturday is packed with the Apple Festival at Peddler's Village, a car show in New Britain, and DelVal's Senior Day. Veterans Day is Wednesday, Nov. 11. County offices and post offices are closed. 🚧 PECO work on State and Main streets continues through Dec. 4, so allow extra time downtown. 🎄 Holiday tickets are on sale now for Fonthill. |
